Spanish hilltop views Iznájar is one of the most southerly villages of the province of Córdoba, making it uniquely placed on the cusps between Córdoba, Granada and Málaga. Because of this situation, to speak of Iznájar is to speak of a rich and varied tapestry of people, places and entertainments. However its core industry is unmistakable to even a first time visitor. It is impossible not to be awed by Iznájar and her sister villages’ far reaching and exquisitely beautiful silver blanket of olive trees, rolling away as far as the eye can see, year after year providing their carers and producers with their main source of industry, employment and income – olives, and olive oil.

Olives are the main industry of this region of Spain Broadening out from the immediate and striking environment to Córdoba Province itself, innumerable treasures are on offer. To the north west of Córdoba city we find the Parque Natural Sierra Norte, home to breathtakingly jagged rock formations and thousands of hectares of cork forests, a lesser but nevertheless essential industry to Southern Spain. Winding mountain roads lead the wanderer unknowingly on, until a chance encounter with a precariously laden cork lorry, a mass of circling of vultures, a road block of wild boar, an extraordinary sunset, becomes a life-long memory etched into our “awesome sights” file.  The Via Verde runs through Córdoba - the original Olive Trail - ask us for our Guide Books!

Safe Spanish streets For our children, the safety of Spain´s streets is something that takes time to truly believe and adjust to – our own “aldea” (satellite village) is one where locking a front door remains anathema and where the local children are loved by all, and who take unto their own any young visitors who are encouraged to venture out and participate in the game of the moment.

This gives the parents the unimaginable luxury of simply knowing that their children are safer here than anywhere ….

For their entertainment we have a myriad of activities on offer - from close by in terms of Kayaking, Riding, Supervised 4x4 Racing, Paintballing and indoor soft play areas and parks to further afield finding everything from zoos, aquariums, 4 hectare play parks, wolf parks, crocodile parks, telecabins with sea views.  Ask us what is available and when - we have an immense amount of information available for you....
