It's Summer - and the Festivals begin .....

 Córdoba's Guitar Festival opens in July ....  

All kinds of Spanish, Flamenco, Classical and Contemporary sounds ...  It is a case of dressing in your most unloved clothes during the day as you will need to pour copious quantities of the coldest water you can find straight over your head at some point - especially if the music is too good to leave the arena for a cool down .... !!   Then later it gets more sultry and romantic ....

The second last weekend in July we have Etnosur 2008, which is Andalucia's answer to Glastonbury and is held in Alcalá la Real (about an hour from here) .... a great excuse to take the inflatable hotel if you like camping, and if not, we are here and ready!  

 Then at the end of July there is the lovely "Blues Cazorla" festival which we did last year Blues Cazorla ... It was hilarious, hot, feisty and frantic from mid day through to 6 or 7 am each day ...  That's much further away and I have great recommendations for places to stay if you don't want to camp there ...

 Don't plan on sleeping much is my advice ...

Put your party shoes on!  Summer is HERE !!!
