View of Casa La Celada

Set in the very Heart of Andalucía, Casa La Celada is a beautifully situated Bed & Breakfast, Guest House, and during the Summer a Self Catering Casa Rural or Spanish Villa.  Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Subbética mountains, surrounded by blankets of olive groves, we are only minutes from Andalucía's largest lake - the Embalse de Iznájar.

Side view of our luxury Bed and Breakfast or Casa Rural

We are less than three kilometres from the dramatic and historic town of Iznájar, which means “Happy Castle”, and quite literally teeters on top of an immense rocky crag that juts out into the spectacular Embalse which is fed in part by snow from the Sierra Nevada.

Front door to our Casa Rural Our location is so central within Andalucía itself that within ten minutes´you can drive out of the Province of Córdoba into the Province of either Málaga or Granada, making our location a wonderful base for exploring the inland treasures of Southern Spain including the Alhambra in Granada, Mezquita in Córdoba and Alcazaba in Málaga.  In less than two hours you can be in the Province capitals of Sevilla and Jaén, both exquisitely beautiful with much to offer every taste.

Pictures of our rooms, our home, and the surrounding landscapes appear throughout this site and are subject to constant improvement.

What about the RIO VERDE CANYON?  We did this last August and it was truly one of the most breathtaking, exhilarating, demanding and fantastic fun day's out I have ever had .... and I say that as someone who at the time was unfit to put it MILDLY ....

We'd be delighted to organise it for you - just let us know ...

Wild Orchids .....

Today, while gathering my regular supply of firelighters (pine cones) in my favourite wood next to the gorgeous Donkey Sanctuary in Rute, my eye was caught.
